AboutI am a recent graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts for Environmental Studies and with a Minor in Professional Writing for Civic Engagement.
Prior to living in Santa Barbara, I resided in San Diego, California, where I spent my childhood. My passion for environmental issues sprouted in my last year of high school, where I completed my first internship with a local environmental organization. After my graduation in 2016, I moved back to San Diego where I worked at the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology. I had always planned on moving to a different city so I could have the chance to expand my horizons. I believe new experiences shape who we become as people, and living in a new city can help us grow and reach our full potential as individuals. I recently moved to Los Angeles, California where I have been presented with an amazing opportunity to work at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) as the Land & Wildlife program assistant. I am beyond thrilled to be here and to be a part of an organization that is so dedicated to protecting our environment and holding those who pollute it accountable. Throughout the past few years I have acquired a dynamic set of skills that have helped me excel in the professional world. This is my online portfolio of some of the work I have completed recently. |
